About Home-Start
Home-Start Teesside began as a project called P.A.T.C.H. (Parent And Toddler Care at Home) in 1981, supporting families in the Stockton area.
Stockton/Middlesbrough P.A.T.C.H. affiliated to Home-Start UK in 1999 and became Home-Start Teesside.
In December 1999 the office base was moved from Stockton to Middlesbrough. In August 2007 we moved to our new premises in Marshall Avenue, Brambles Farm.
As well as our core work we also run a family support group in Yarm for those families who feel they do not need the home support of a volunteer or for those families who are waiting to be matched with a volunteer but would like to receive group support in the meantime.
